Jim and his family now call Cincinnati home having lived here for 13 years after spending almost 25 years moving around the world with Procter & Gamble. He went from operating manufacturing plants to settling into a second career renovating and building houses and starting his service business along the way. Having moved several times in his years with P&G, Jim has experienced the challenges of finding quality contractors and service people he could trust to do what he needed accomplished each time he moved into a different house. Even with recommendations from new neighbors or friends it was usually a 50/50 bet that the contractor would live up to his expectations. Thus the idea to provide a service to homeowners where the vetting is done by someone with years of experience to greatly increase those odds in the homeowners favor. Jim’s experience includes renovating 6 houses and building one from the ground up, his current home. Jim will be writing a regular column for Cincy Chic providing tips and information on home improvements and repairs along with answering reader’s questions.
