Alyssa was born in Cincinnati, but she's also lived in Philadelphia and Düsseldorf, Germany. Shaped by her experiences everywhere she's lived, Alyssa hopes to do a lot of traveling and exploring after graduating from Northwestern.

Her writing interests include politics, education and culture. With a double major in political science, she would like to cover both domestic and international affairs.
