Ashley Berlin's passion for health began in elementary school when her dad used to make her and her brothers drink a freshly made glass of carrot juice every morning before school. Looking back, early on it was less of a nutritional passion and more like something annoying that she always tried to get out of drinking. But she was rarely sick, and as she got older, she made the connection of good nutrition and an active lifestyle leading to a healthy life. Berlin graduated with a degree in mass communication from Miami University. After college, she worked in public relations and eventually became a speechwriter for the executives at General Motors in the Motor City. Berlin is currently the owner of BEAT Personal Training in West Chester. She has played competitive volleyball and tennis. Her approach to total body wellness means achieving balance between exceptional workouts and cutting edge nutrition. She specializes in weight loss, strength, toning, rehabilitation and nutritional counseling. Outside of the gym, Berlin is active in her church; loves to read; enjoys exploring the city she grew up in (Cincinnati); and is always on the lookout for restaurants with good, fresh ingredients. |
