Piles of paperwork, never-ending emails and an overbearing boss? Take a break for some stress relieving beautification at Cincinnati's first hotel spa.

Located at the The 21c Museum Hotel downtown, this new spa specializes in quality and convenience. In fact, the 21c Spa offers 30-minute express treatments. "Our spa is revolutionizing the spa experience in Cincinnati," says spa manager, Natasha Burns. "A woman on the go can have a nice massage, manicure, pedicure, or facial without taking too much time out of her day."

Of course, if you have more time to spare, the 21c Spa also offers full-service treatments, and also add-ons. "We have two to four hour treatments that incorporate all different types of modalities," Burns adds. "We also provide spa refreshments made by our in-house chef."

The 21c Spa has many unique aspects you won't find at many other spas in the area, says Burns. For example, their spa suites are all inclusive, each equipped with a steam shower and amenities to get ready prior to your spa experience. All suites have heated floors, and some also contain whirlpool tubs.

The spa also uses products not found at other spas in the area. "We are the only spa to use Revive for our facials. We also use Tasha & Co. massage, bath, and body treatments and we carry a vegan nail care line as well," explains Burns. The 21c Spa offers a few different types of pedicures that are done inside of their spa suites. These include a quick 30 minute express pedicure, the 21c signature pedicure that lasts 50 minutes, men's pedicures, and a hot stone pedicure. The express pedicure starts at $42.

Guests can also begin to invigorate the senses before they enter the spa. "Another aspect of our spa that makes us different is that you get to walk through an art museum before you enter the spa. You can start relaxing before you even get to the spa by admiring beautiful art," says Burns.

The spa is open to everyone, not just hotel residents. Additionally, locals that are driving in are offered free valet parking so they don't have to worry about parking when they come downtown.

Burns was very excited to be a part of the opening process and revolutionizing the spa experience in Cincinnati. "I used to work and live in Las Vegas in their large hotel spas. Being able to bring that here to Cincinnati was a dream of mine and such an exciting experience."

The 21c Spa will soon be opening their rooftop patio for guests to go and further their relaxation.

"Many guests have been saying that Cincinnati has needed something like this," explains Burns, "Usually, you have to go to a fancy resort to get the types of treatments we offer here at the spa. You shouldn't have to go on a vacation to feel like you're getting away, and the 21c Spa is providing that escape without the vacation. Everyone is very excited about the spa, and not one guest leaves unhappy."
