Foot Petals Reduce Pain of Being Posh
A new foot care solution lets you have your stiletto and be pain-free too. Learn more about the chic little inserts changing shoe lovers' lives forever.

Love hurts, especially when you're in love with high heels. That's why fellow fabu-shoe fan Tina Aldatz developed Foot Petals.

"After years of working in the fashion industry and endless hours of walking in painful shoes, I knew there had to be a better way," she says. "My goal was to create a pretty solution to this ugly problem. Now women everywhere can walk in style and comfort."

Aldatz was a special events and merchandising director for BCBG Max Azria, so it was important for her to look stylish. But with all the running around town she was doing with that job, she needed to be comfortable, too.

She refused to succumb to the skirt and sneaker look, just for the sake of comfort. So, instead, she bought orthopedic insoles and cut and pasted them to fit all her different shoe styles.

This eventually inspired Aldatz to create and mass produce a similar solution for others who needed this 041811health2.jpgfashionable functionality. In January 2001, Foot Petals were born with the objective of offering long-lasting comfort without taking away from the look of designer shoes.

Foot Petals now offers several solutions for various types of cute kicks such as ballet flats, stilettos and strappy sandals.

Since founding the business, Aldatz is now a certified pedorthist, which offers training in the modification of footwear and orthotics in accordance with medical prescriptions for the treatment of disease, injury or deformity.

You can find Foot Petals at Bridal & Formal, Inc., Dillards and Guess inside Kenwood Towne Center.
