With the sun shining and life coming back to the world, spring makes for the best time to take a road trip and retreat back to nature. And Harmony Farm gives you exactly that.

Located just 90 minutes away from Downtown Cincinnati in Dayton, Ohio, this place of healing and renewal is close enough for a quick escape but far enough away to get away from it all. So, whether you're looking for a half-day retreat or a full week away, Harmony Farm can make it happen.

The first step is to chat with retreat coach Sally Mahrt, who will work with you to personalize your experience. "I spent 25 years in the travel business working in VIP and incentive work, creating experiences, so I'm blessed to be able to bring people to the farm to create their down time," Mahrt says.

As Harmony Farm has so many different types of services and activities to offer, each person can come to the farm looking for something different. "We have a beautiful long lane that you're going to drive down when you get here," Mahrt says. Photobucket"My intention is that we have woven what you want to feel when you're leaving, so tell me what you want to feel as you're leaving, and that's kind of how I weave the weekend or the time for them."

Mahrt generally recommends starting off your time at Harmony Farm with the Labyrinth in the Woods. This walking meditation literally is in the woods, so as you're following the paths carved in the stone circle, you can let your mind go of all of the responsibilities and stresses back at home.

Beyond the labyrinth, Harmony Farm offers several ways to connect with nature. Whether you want to lay in a hammock by the pond or take a hike on one of the many hiking trails, it's very easy to experience natural relaxation.

If you're looking for specific services to relieve your stress and rejuvenate yourself, Harmony Farm offers everything from massages and body wraps to reiki and reflexology. "It's a personal spring cleaning of the body, mind and soul," Mahrt says.

Mahrt even recognizes the importance of shopping therapy. "I'm all for shopping therapy, and we have some great restaurants. We have some wonderful stores, so if they want to incorporate any of that, we try to put that in there too," she says.
