The Gym that Comes to You The weather outside may be frightful, but with this local fitness option, your workouts can be delightful — in the comfort of your own home. Discover how you can start having your gym show up at your door. ![]() Winter can be your health's worst enemy. The cold, dark days make exercising outside a no go and even make you dread stepping outside to go to the gym. But Destination Fitness can help you survive the season and thrive in your workout goals.
That's because Destination Fitness comes to you. Whether you need to fit your workout in your lunch break at work or wait till the kids go to bed, your personal trainer can come to you where and when you need it. "If you want to train at 10 p.m. on Saturday, we're gonna find a trainer that can come at 10 p.m. on Saturday," Owner Zak Nordyke says.
And once your trainer gets to your place, you don't have to worry about having any equipment to use for your sessions. "We really show people how they can use simple tools to achieve great results," Nordyke says. "And since it's one-to-one or very small group instruction, we take the time to personalize the program to meet clients needs and to show them that focusing and using simple equipment, you can achieve the same result as if you had a full gym at your disposal."
As Nordyke mentioned, Destination Fitness offers individual and small group training, so you can go it alone or with a support system. That support system can include up to three other people, and Destination Fitness makes it easy for your group by separate billing.
This personal training option is $72 an hour, with a minimum of 13 hours. The hours can be broken down into once a week hour-long sessions or twice a week half an hour sessions, but Destination Fitness is offering Cincy Chic readers a free 60-minute fitness evaluation and 50 percent off their first session. To take advantage of this offer, show a print-off copy of this story now through Feb. 28.
