A Different Kind of Little Black Book You probably don't want your man looking in his little black book. That is of course until you read this story. Find out about one little black book you won't mind him peeking at. ![]() With a commitment to you, your man doesn't need his little black book anymore. Just because he doesn't need one doesn't mean you can't give him another, one a little more suitable for the monogamous type. And that's where Little Black Book Photography comes in.
Specializing in boudoir photography, Little Black Book Photography gives you a chance to show your sexy side with their intimate photo sessions. Women give themselves bombshell blowouts and movie-star makeup before slipping into something "a little more comfortable" for their at-home photo shoot. "It ends up being a spoil yourself kind of day," Owner Deb Barrett says.
But as this sexy side isn't necessarily something you'd wish to share with all of your house guests, Barrett includes a little black book with each session. This book gives you something a little more discreet than framed pictures to remind you of how beautiful you are. "You're having a bad day, feeling not good about yourself just check out those pictures because you really are beautiful," Barrett says.
While some women want to have a boudoir photo session just for themselves, many of Barrett's clients also do it to surprise a special someone in their life. So whether it's a wedding, birthday or anniversary gift for the one you love, the little black book of photos definitely makes a wonderfully packaged present (that also works well to dislodge some of the magazines under the bed).
Little Black Book Photography offers single hour-and-a-half sessions that include a 10-page book of your favorite 20 photos. But you also have the option to get together with a couple of your girlfriends for a boudoir bash.
"I do a Little Black Book Party, which is three women, and it's a mini session for each, so it's 45 minutes for each person," Barrett says. This gives you the chance to hang out with your gal pals and get their advice on styling and posing or even borrow some jewelry to accessorize your look.
Beyond getting some girl time in, the Little Black Book Party also gives you a more affordable option. Each woman still receives a little black book, but instead of the regular session's 20 photos, each selects their top 10 photos for the book.
