Cincy Chic: On the job, you're a police officer, but in your spare time you ride for a cure with the Chrome Divas Cincinnati. So how did you get involved with the Chrome Divas?

Michelle "Spicy" Bradley of the Chrome Divas Cincinnati: Two years ago I took the motorcycle safety course at Diamond Oaks. A current member of the Chrome Divas was in the class and told me about the group. After looking up more information on the Internet, I loved the fact that they were all women who liked to ride motorcycles and at the same time raise money for a fantastic cause, so I decided to join.

Cincy Chic: Chrome Divas have chapters across the country that each choose a specific charity to support, and you have chosen to ride for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. What led you to that decision?

Bradley: Our chapter founders made that decision when they started our chapter in 2007. I think all of us know at least one woman who has been affected by the disease, and we even have a new member who is a survivor. It is just a very fitting cause for a group of women to support.

Cincy Chic: So how do you actually raise money with your motorcycles?

Bradley: We put on several annual events throughout the year to raise money. We have a bikini bike wash, night ride, golf outing and a Halloween party. We also have merchandise booths at WestFest on June 26 and 27 and at Quaker Steak and Lube (Colerain) on July 8 and Aug. 12.

Cincy Chic: How can Cincy Chic readers get involved?

Bradley: Attending our events is a great way to help us raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Our annual night run and golf outing have been very successful, not to mention fun.

Also, women who ride their own motorcycles are invited to attend one of our meetings to learn more about our group and see if it may be something they would like to join. Our meetings are on the third Tuesday of the month and usually at Take 5 Bar and Grill on Harrison Avenue at 7:30 p.m.

Cincy Chic: When you aren't working on the police force or riding for a cause, what do you like to do for fun?

Bradley: I enjoy being outdoors and take several camping trips during the summer. I will be heading to Riverbend with friends for some really great concerts this summer. I also really enjoy home improvement projects and am addicted to do-it-yourself projects.

Cincy Chic: What do you love most about Cincinnati?

Bradley: Cincinnati has a lot of great restaurants and bars that have outdoor areas with nice views overlooking the river. I love a live band, a warm summer evening and a cool drink.
