It might seem too good to be true, but go ahead and pinch yourself. No matter how hard you squeeze Apricot Lane, located in Rookwood Commons, still will offer its Fashion Parties, so save yourself the pain.

So how does this service make your party-hosting dreams come true as it lets you get your shopping fix? Let's (dis)count the ways.

1. They do all the work.

You don't have to worry about the dust bunnies hopping around your house or the mountain of mess you have growing in your living room. Save the stress by playing hostess for your girlfriends on someone else's turf — where they do all the cleaning.

This idea might seem like a drawback when it comes to refreshments. After all, nobody's as comfortable in someone else's kitchen. But what if Apricot Lane provided the space and the refreshments? Whether you want light snacks, a couple pizzas, a spread of desserts or even wine for the 21-and-older crowd, your Fashion Party can have whatever you'd like, as long as you give the folks at the boutique advanced notice as to what will work best, Store Manager Jill Cates says.

After a stress-free preparation, you can enjoy your party even more with a 25 percent discount for you and your guests. So you can have a night with the girls as you all score some deals on trendy clothes and fashionable accessories.

"And there's no cost to the person having it," Cates says. In fact, the hostess receives a gift card to Apricot Lane at the end of the night. The amount on the card depends on the party purchases, so the more you shop, the more you get!

3. You can shop in a more intimate atmosphere.

Apricot Lane provides privacy for their Fashion Parties by closing down the store and offering exclusive boutique access to you and your girlfriends. While the party might start with some jewelry browsing, this privacy really starts kicking in as the ladies start hitting the dressing rooms. As guests shop, the Apricot Lane staff keeps each person's selections together with a name tag so that all of the items stay together until the guest is ready to try it all on.

And once the party gets started, there's no rush to stop. As a hostess, you set up a timeframe for your party with Apricot Lane, but the ending time remains flexible. If your party is supposed to end at 9 p.m., but you're still on a spree, the staff won't push you out the door.

"By having a personal shopping experience, you're certainly going to be more intimately involved with the staff and with the clothing in the store because you're going to feel a little more at ease with trying on as much as you want, as long as you want it," Cates says.

To schedule your own Apricot Lane party, call (513) 834-9278 or head to the boutique at 2723 Edmondson Road in Rookwood Commons.
