With every purchase of $100 or more, Lavish Giving gives customers a "Good Card" redeemable for 10 percent of the total purchase price as a donation to any registered non-profit charity in the United States. The "Good Card" can be mailed or e-mailed directly to customers and redeemed through NetworkforGood.org . LavishGiving.com takes care of all processing and transaction fees so that 100 percent of the money goes directly to the charity of your choice.
In addition to being charitable, LavishGiving.com also offers an array of bright and quirky products that Pennells describes as "high design," ranging from gifts for men and women to baby gear and even accessories for the home and office. And every vendor featured on LavishGiving.com is specifically chosen by a certain set of criteria. The products have to be bright and beautiful, and the people behind the products must be charitable as well. For example, Cherry Tee makes T-shirts for women but also gives back to the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund. "All products we sell give back three times, essentially. The vendors give back, Lavish Giving gives back, and the customer also gets to give back," Pennells says.
