Stepping Out of the Ordinary
Go head over heels for your next Girls Night Out. Grab your sole sisters and strut on over to this local shoe shop that’s sure to keep your best foot-fashion forward.

The uber glamorized lives of  the iconic foursome of "Sex and the City" seem a world apart from our comparatively unsexy daily grind. But these sassy sophisticates prove that if there are two things women can’t get enough of, they are shoes and girl talk. Cincy Designer Shoes combines the best of these worlds at their Hyde Park store where fabulous footwear and fun with the girls are part of its one-of-a-kind experience. You can bet your knee-high leather boots that Carrie Bradshaw would approve!

As a full-service shoe salon, Cincy Designer Shoes isn’t just your new favorite shopping spot. It’s your fashion stylist and event coordinator too.

“There are a lot of places where you can just go in and buy shoes, but we’re trying to create a whole community — like a family,” says Carrie Cameron, owner and founder of Cincy Designer Shoes. “We feel it’s important to make our customers feel special and do unique things for them.”

One of the unique complimentary services Cincy Designer Shoes provides is shoe and wardrobe consultation. Staff members will help you find the perfect glass slipper to compliment any number of outfits you bring into the store. To complete this footwear fantasy, Cameron also will hand pick an array of shoes customized to your style, comfort and budget.

“You might go into a department store and try on one or three pairs of shoes. Here, on average, if you come into the store, you’re trying on at least eight pairs of different styles. You’re going to pick things you like and we’re also going to pick things that we think would look awesome on you,” Cameron says.

To further satisfy your shoe craving and work around your busy schedule, Cincy Designer Shoes offers extended hours for Ladies Nights every Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. 091409SOCIAL.jpgShoppers can enjoy wine, cheese and champagne while they network with their fellow footwear fanatics and browse the store’s latest selection of shoes, handbags and hats. New inventory changes on a weekly basis, Cameron says. Customers also can enter to win a free pair of shoes, valued anywhere between $100 and $350.

Cincy Designer Shoes also will arrange private parties after store hours for ladies and at least five of their gal pals. “You feel like you’re a little kid again playing dress-up because we just have so many, unique fun styles,” Cameron says. “It’s a great way to dress and do something different.”

On Oct. 8, Cincy Designer Shoes will host an Arche Shoes trunk show as the sole carrier of that line in Cincinnati. Shoe lovers also can look forward to several of its fashion shows at the Kenwood Country Club in the future.
