Hi everyone,
I am working out a little formatting issue with my blog but will be up and running in full force soon!
In the meantime, I wanted to be sure to let you know of a really cool performance coming up next Friday. This will be great for anyone who loves guitar, fiddle, folk, Bluegrass or Jazz. It involves one of the most internationally-acclaimed fingerstyle guitarists, Richard Smith, playing with three other virtuosos (on violin, bass and guitar) - they are called Hot Club of Nashville.
They will be doing a performance of Gypsy Jazz (ala Django Reinhardt) infused with Folk and Bluegrass influences ... and the opening act is Cincinnati's own local Gypsy Jazz group, Faux Frenchmen!
This is definitely going to be a concert to attend - show starts at 8 p.m. (though doors and bar open at 6:45). $20 admission at 20th Century Theatre, 3012 Madison Rd 45209.
