Chenese Bean Makeup Artistry
Chenese Bean isn't your typical Cincinnati woman. She's a single mother and a self-taught makeup artist with nearly eight years in the beauty biz. Oh, and she happens to be known for working on commercials, training videos and films in addition to working with the famous recording group Jagged Edge.

If you think about it, Bean is living the life most of us only have in our dreams. She has been able to turn her passion for making people beautiful into an extremely successful career.

"Makeup artistry is not just about applying makeup. It's a profession, it's a skill, and it's a business. And you must be trustworthy to do it. But first and foremost, it's a big part of my life, and that's my ministry," Bean says on her Web site.

Woodhouse Day Spa

We all are aware of the Brazilian wax treatment, so when first hearing about the Keratin Treatment, which came from Brazil, there was a little doubt. However, this new hair treatment is just what any woman needs to tackle the summer frizz. Michael and Company is the only place to get it in the Cincinnati area.

Keratin Treatment, which just arrived in the United States from Brazil two years ago, originally started in California and Florida, but with the help of Sarah Caudill, a stylist for Anderson Township's Michael and Company, this new trend was brought to life in the Tri-State.

Already 25 treatments have been performed and some people have traveled two hours just for the treatment, according to Michael and Company.

"We use a 450 degree flat iron to seal keratin, the treatment's active ingredient, into hair strands. This process seals in moisture, keeping the hair shiny and glossy," according to Michael and Company.

So if you have the attack of the summer frizz and can't find anything to tame that do, Michael and Company may have your solution.

Going to beauty school gives you the hope of fulfilling those dreams of cutting, styling and coloring every woman to a more satisfying individual.
